Mohammad Rafi a great star voice of Indian Hindi film industry was born on 24 December 1924. His nickname was Pheeko. His first film was Gaon Ki Gori released in 1945. His first film which won a Filmfare Award was Chaudhvin Ka Chand. He won total 21 Filmfare Awards and National Film Awards for his melodies voice. The song Kya Hua Tera Wada was
one of the great song of the era, which won a National Award. He was a versatile singer who sang in over 13 Indian languages. In his career Mohammad Rafi works with several famous music directors, among them S D Burman, Shankar-Jaikishan, Madan Mohan and O. P. Nayyar has a great bond with Rafi ji. Mohammed Rafi died on 31 July 1980, by heart attack. His last song was Shaam Phir Kyun Udaas Hai Dost for the movie Aas Paas. Although he is not presents in this mortal world his beautiful voice will entertain us years after years.
